Maurice Prendergast (1858-1924) was an American Post-Impressionist artist known for his vibrant, light-filled paintings and watercolors of urban scenes and leisure activities. Did you know? Prendergast was a member of «The Eight,» a group of artists who sought to break away from the academic traditions of the time and promote a more modern, realistic approach to painting. Midjourney doesn’t apply this style evenly to all the prompts, but we love the portrait of Francis D., the details of burning forests with the Chernobog, the small brushstrokes on wider landscape images.
