Mel Bochner

Benchmark score:
7.0

Mel Bochner, born in 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American conceptual artist who has been a leading figure in the development of Conceptual art since the 1960s. Raised in an Orthodox Jewish home, Bochner's father was a sign painter, a profession that likely influenced his artistic inclinations. Bochner's work often explores the relationship between language and physical space, utilizing a variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, and installation. It's always hard to say with conceptual artists if Midjourney recognizes their style or not. However, this is an easier case: we believe all the prompts react to Mel's style, except the stubborn peonies and cat. Hence, the Midlibrary score of 7/9.
