Michael Bierut is an acclaimed American graphic designer, design critic, and educator known for his intelligent and accessible approach to graphic design. Did you know? Michael Bierut’s work includes a broad spectrum of design, from logo design and brand identity systems to signage and way-finding systems, poster design, and packaging. Some of his most notable projects include the logo for Verizon, the graphic identity for Benetton’s Fabrica research center, the redesign of the Atlantic magazine, and his work on public school identity and signage for the New York City Department of Education. Bierut is also a committed design educator and has been a senior critic in graphic design at the Yale School of Art since 1993. He is a co-founder of the website Design Observer and has contributed to many books and publications on design. His book «How to Use Graphic Design to Sell Things, Explain Things, Make Things Look Better, Make People Laugh, Make People Cry, and (Every Once in a While) Change the World» is a comprehensive showcase of his career and a reflection on his philosophy of graphic design. This is not a very consistent Midjourney style, but we find it interesting in those cases when it works. The Midlibrary score is 6/9.
