Silhouette

Benchmark score:
8.0

Today’s technique is very simple. It’s a silhouette. Some theory: A silhouette is a form of art and portraiture that focuses on creating a two-dimensional representation of an object, person, or scene, typically in a single color and against a contrasting background. Silhouettes are characterized by their simplicity and the absence of intricate details, relying on the shape and outline to convey the subject. Did you know? Silhouettes have a long history and were particularly popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. They were often created by tracing the shadow of a person’s profile cast by candlelight or sunlight. Midjourney struggles with the concept of simple two-dimensional monochromatic silhouette, but it does what it can. Everything, except the peonies, can be considered a nice try! The Midlibrary score is 8/9.
