Tyrus Wong (1910 – 2016) was a Chinese-American artist and illustrator renowned for his groundbreaking work as a painter and concept artist for the Walt Disney Studios, particularly for his significant contributions to the animated film «Bambi» (1942). Born in Taishan, China, Wong immigrated to the United States at a young age and faced numerous challenges as an immigrant artist in a racially segregated society. However, his unique artistic talents and creative vision would ultimately leave an indelible mark on the world of animation and art. It’s a definite Power Style, with the Midlibrary score 9/9!
