Anthony Burrill is a British graphic artist, printmaker, and designer known for his persuasive and impactful typographic artworks. Born in Littleborough, Lancashire, Burrill studied Graphic Design at Leeds Polytechnic and later completed a Master's in Graphic Design at the Royal College of Art, London. He gained international fame for his "Work Hard and Be Nice to People" poster, a simple yet powerful message that has become iconic in design circles and beyond.
Burrill's work is characterized by its minimalist approach, often using bold, block-letter typography and striking colors to convey uplifting and thought-provoking messages. His designs are not just limited to posters but extend to installations, sculptures, and even short films.
