Liu Ye is a Chinese painter known for his imaginative and dreamlike style that merges Eastern and Western elements. He often portrays young girls and animals in whimsical settings with bright colors and simplified shapes. Liu Ye's approach to art is influenced by his background in graphic design and his interest in European art, particularly Surrealism. He started painting at a young age and went on to study at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
Interesting fact: Liu Ye's works have been exhibited in prestigious museums and galleries around the world, including the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing.
