About

Ashley Wood is an Australian illustrator and artist known for his distinctive style that blends traditional and digital techniques. He has worked on various projects, including comic books, graphic novels, and video game art, and is recognized for his gritty, expressive approach that often features sci-fi and surreal elements.

Observations

Across all four renders, futuristic armored figures are built from forceful, visible brushwork and broken, gestural marks rather than clean digital edges. The restrained beige, gray, black, and off-white palette is repeatedly punctuated by strong dark forms, while mechanical details remain readable within the expressive painterly abstraction.
