About
Berndnaut Smilde is a contemporary Dutch artist known for his innovative installations that explore themes of impermanence and transience. His work often involves creating temporary clouds indoors, challenging perceptions of space and environment.
Observations
Across all four renders, photorealistic clouds fill richly decorated palace rooms, with extensive woodwork, frescoed ceilings, parquet floors, and tall windows rendered in fine architectural detail. Muted brown-green interiors contrast with luminous white vapor and dramatic window light, creating a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere with strong depth and cinematic framing.
