About

Boris Groh is a contemporary artist known for his dark and surreal illustrations. His work often explores themes of decay, fantasy, and the otherworldly, drawing inspiration from gothic and fantastical realism.

Observations

Across the four scenes, the style combines heavily textured, painterly surfaces with cinematic compositions, deep blue-green shadows, and recurring red-orange light sources. Hooded figures, ruined architecture, snow, fog, and distant silhouettes create a dark fantasy atmosphere with strong contrast and a gritty film-grain finish.
