About

Kilian Eng is a Swedish illustrator known for his intricate and imaginative digital artworks, often exploring themes of science fiction and fantasy. His work is characterized by detailed line work, vibrant color palettes, and surreal landscapes, drawing inspiration from both futuristic and mythological elements.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style builds vast fantastical landscapes from densely worked architectural ruins, cavernous rock formations, arches, pillars, and distant spires. Fine contour-like marks and painterly texture give the scenes an expressive, intricately layered surface, while deep blue-black shadows contrast with coral, orange, and pink luminous areas for a moody, epic atmosphere.
