Her work often explores themes of childhood, memory, and the human experience, using a unique combination of text and imagery. Observations

The style combines densely packed, expressive portraits with vivid, sometimes clashing colors and heavy black contour lines. Visible ink-like drawing, fine hatching, colored-pencil or painted textures, handwritten page fragments, and collage-like layering give the images a tactile sketchbook quality.
