Observations
The style uses naturalistic photographic portraiture with intimate close-ups, low angles, and faces partially immersed in foliage, grass, sky, or water. Saturated seasonal colors, warm sunlight, shallow focus, and visible film grain give the images an expressive, tactile, slightly nostalgic outdoor atmosphere.
