About

Simon Schubert is a contemporary artist known for his intricate paper folding and cutting techniques, creating detailed and often surreal architectural scenes. His work explores themes of perception, reality, and the interplay between light and shadow, often evoking a sense of mystery and introspection.

Observations

Across all four renders, monumental white sculptural forms and elaborate classical interiors are presented in stark monochrome, with small human figures creating an overwhelming sense of scale. Strong directional lighting, deep shadows, and cinematic compositions turn each architectural tableau into a surreal, imposing scene.
