Dada movement is an avant-garde art movement that emerged in the early 20th century as a reaction to the horrors of World War I. It originated in Zurich, Switzerland, and spread to other parts of Europe and America. Dada artists rejected traditional aesthetics and embraced chaos, absurdity, and anti-establishment sentiments. They used unconventional techniques such as collage, photomontage, and ready-mades to challenge the norms of art and society.
