Observations
The style combines painterly texture with monumental, carefully rendered ruins and vast dreamlike landscapes. Restrained violet, blue, and rose tones, strong light-dark separation, atmospheric haze, and huge areas of open sky or water create an uncanny sense of scale and isolation.
