About

Albert Robida was a French illustrator, etcher, and writer known for his futuristic and fantastical visions of the world. Born in 1848, Robida's work often depicted imaginative and whimsical scenes, blending elements of fantasy and science fiction. He was a contemporary of Jules Verne and shared a similar fascination with the future, technology, and the potential of human innovation.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style combines densely detailed, ornate architectural fantasy with fine drawn linework and visible painterly texture. Subdued vintage tones, monumental urban vistas, airborne vehicles and crowded street scenes create an expansive, kinetic world of floating Parisian-inspired structures.
