About
Brent Heighton is a contemporary artist known for his vibrant and expressive paintings that capture the essence of European street life and landscapes. His works often depict bustling urban scenes, characterized by their lively atmosphere and rich color palettes. Heighton's style is influenced by impressionism, focusing on the play of light and shadow, and the use of bold, broad brushstrokes to convey movement and emotion.
Observations
Across all four views, the style uses highly visible, broad, broken brushwork to build richly detailed urban and waterfront scenes. Strong warm-cool color contrasts, reflective surfaces, and selective luminous highlights give the scenes an energetic, atmospheric realism while retaining a clearly painted, illustrative character.
