About

Carsten Meyerdierks is a contemporary photographer known for his surreal and fantastical landscape imagery. His work often explores themes of nature, mystery, and the ethereal, creating visually arresting scenes that transport viewers to otherworldly realms.

Observations

The style uses highly realistic, cinematic landscapes with dense environmental detail, monumental rock formations, reflective water, and dramatic weather. Muted blue-green tones are punctuated by warm orange light, while mist, cloud masses, and strong contrast create a brooding yet surreal sense of scale.
