About

He has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal. Observations

Across all four renders, the style uses highly detailed ink drawing with delicate contour lines, dense hatching, and expressive, exaggerated faces and figures. Mostly pale or monochrome passages are punctuated by restrained red, blue, and ochre accents, while portraits, fantastical characters, and animal companions dominate the tightly cropped compositions.
