Chris Sanders is an American animator, director, and illustrator known for his work in the animation industry, particularly with Disney and DreamWorks.

Observations

This style combines loose, finely drawn pencil contours with selective watercolor-like washes, visible paper texture, and earthy, restrained color. It consistently presents whimsical animal characters with exaggerated anatomy, oversized eyes, scruffy textures, and humorous, highly expressive groupings.
