About
Daarken is a contemporary illustrator known for his work in fantasy art, particularly within the realms of gaming and conceptual design. His real-life counterpart, Michael Lim, has contributed to numerous projects, creating evocative and immersive visuals that capture the imagination.
Observations
Across all four renders, the style combines richly textured, painterly surfaces with finely controlled brushwork, strong detail, and dramatic close cropping. Deep teal-black shadows, subdued dusty highlights, and selective warm accents create a moody, high-contrast cinematic atmosphere spanning portraits, animals, and urban or natural scenes.
