About

Dan Spiegle is an American comic book artist known for his work on various titles across different publishers, including DC Comics and Gold Key Comics. His career spanned several decades, during which he contributed to both mainstream superhero comics and adaptations of popular television series.

Observations

The style uses densely detailed comic-book illustration with thick black ink contours, crosshatching, flat color blocks, and strongly saturated primary hues. Dramatic character poses, monstrous figures, explosive backgrounds, and panel-like framing create a bold, high-contrast vintage superhero aesthetic.
