About

Dave Whamond is a Canadian illustrator and cartoonist known for his humorous and whimsical style. He has contributed to various publications and is recognized for his engaging and playful illustrations, often featuring exaggerated characters and lively scenes.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style uses highly expressive comic-book drawing with thick black ink contours, dense hatching, simplified flat color areas, and vivid primary-heavy palettes. Faces and figures are exaggerated into caricature, while energetic poses, dramatic expressions, and humorous action give the sheet a pulp-style visual intensity.
