About

David Horsey is an American editorial cartoonist and commentator known for his work in political satire. He has won multiple Pulitzer Prizes for his insightful and often humorous depictions of political figures and events.

Observations

The style uses dense, finely hatched ink drawing with clean illustrative contours, exaggerated faces, and highly readable costume and architectural detail. Restrained earthy colors, strong light-dark separation, and tightly framed groups or portraits give the scenes an expressive, dramatic editorial character.
