About

Desmond Morris is a renowned British zoologist, ethologist, and surrealist painter, best known for his work in animal behavior and his book "The Naked Ape." His artistic endeavors often explore the intersection of human and animal worlds, characterized by a surreal and imaginative style.

Observations

Across all four renders, birds and plant-like forms are reduced to angular, geometric shapes with elongated legs, beaks, and graphic eyes. Saturated teal, blue, orange, red, and yellow shapes sit in flat color blocks, while visible brush texture and canvas grain soften the otherwise crisp, poster-like construction.
