About

He gained prominence with his series "Hip Hop Family Tree," which explores the history of hip-hop music, and "X-Men: Grand Design," a retelling of the X-Men saga. Observations
The style is a densely packed graphic-novel illustration, built from heavy black ink contours, flat blocks of burnt orange, teal, ochre and near-black, and abundant fine interior hatching. It combines exaggerated masked and skeletal characters with crowded retro interiors and architectural cutaways, using stark contrast, theatrical poses and intricate environmental detail throughout.
