Observations
The style combines visible painterly washes with delicate, scratch-like linear drawing, creating richly textured forests, architecture, clothing, and faces. Subdued green, ochre, charcoal, and cream tones give the scenes a melancholic, dreamlike atmosphere, while expressive figures and overgrown settings merge portraiture with environmental storytelling.
