About

Franco Fontana is an Italian photographer known for his vibrant color photography and abstract landscapes. His work often features bold colors and geometric compositions, capturing the essence of places with a unique and modernist perspective.

Observations

The style combines realistic, lightly grainy imagery with strongly geometric architecture and broad, carefully balanced areas of sky and landscape. Saturated red, blue, yellow, and white surfaces create high contrast, while sparse compositions and flat-roofed buildings give the scenes a graphic, retro editorial character.
