Jack Ziegler

About

Jack Ziegler is an American cartoonist known for his work in The New Yorker, where he contributed humorous and satirical cartoons for several decades. His style is characterized by a witty and whimsical approach to everyday situations, often incorporating a playful sense of humor and a keen observation of human nature.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style uses dense comic-like drawing with heavy black contours, vivid flat-to-lightly textured colors, and highly expressive grotesque characters and creatures. Elaborate urban and natural settings are packed with surreal details, distorted anatomy, oversized features, and energetic visual contrasts.
