About
Januz Miralles is an artist known for his unique approach to digital and mixed media art, often exploring themes of identity and emotion through abstract and surreal compositions. His work is characterized by a blend of traditional and digital techniques, creating haunting and introspective pieces that challenge conventional portraiture.
Observations
Across all four portraits, realistic facial features dissolve into forceful black brushwork, ink splatters, charcoal-like shading, and loose linear marks. The stark monochrome palette, pale negative space, and repeated facial obscuration create an expressive, fragmented, slightly dark surreal mood.
