About

Jaume Capdevila is a Spanish cartoonist and illustrator known for his distinctive and expressive style. His work often explores themes of surrealism and fantasy, blending humor with a critical eye on society. Capdevila's illustrations are characterized by their bold and imaginative use of line and color, often depicting exaggerated characters and whimsical scenes.

Observations

Across all four renders, the style combines visibly rough, broad paint strokes with dark drawn contours, angular shapes, and fragmented yet highly detailed scenes. Earthy ochres, charcoal blacks, cream, and occasional saturated red create an expressive, slightly ominous atmosphere, while active gestures, flying birds, and unstable compositions add motion.
