Joe Fenton

About

Joe Fenton is a contemporary artist known for his intricate and surreal illustrations. His work often features fantastical and dark themes, blending elements of fantasy and gothic art. Observations

Across the renders, richly layered imagery combines botanical abundance, skulls, gothic architecture, seascapes, and flowing smoke or waves with intricate decorative patterning. Saturated coral, turquoise, blue, and gold repeatedly stand against deep dark grounds, while visible brushwork and fine line detail give the surreal compositions a lavish, handcrafted presence.
