Jujutsu Kaisen

About

Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It follows the story of Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved in the world of jujutsu sorcery after ingesting a cursed object. The series is known for its intense battles, supernatural themes, and exploration of curses and spiritual entities.

Observations

The style is a densely packed comic illustration built from expressive character close-ups, heavy ink contours, angular anatomy, and graphic flat-color shapes. Saturated reds, pinks, teals, and deep blacks create high contrast, while supernatural figures, flames, claws, and intense expressions give the collage a dark fantasy energy.
