About

Karen Tarlton is an American artist known for her vibrant and expressive paintings, often depicting nature and wildlife. Her work is characterized by bold colors and dynamic compositions, capturing the beauty and essence of the natural world.

Observations

Across all four renders, recognizable outdoor scenes are built from dense, visible impasto-like strokes, with foliage, blossoms, figures, umbrellas, and wet paths emerging through layered marks. The palette is consistently saturated and multicolored, while broad directional strokes and smaller dabs create an expressive, richly textured surface.
