About

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art form that involves repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. This technique not only restores the item but also highlights the cracks, celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the history of the object. Kintsugi embodies the philosophy of embracing flaws and finding beauty in the incomplete.

Observations

The style presents blue ceramic vessels as realistic, tactile still-life objects, with highly legible crackle glazing, dimensional forms, and irregular gold-filled fracture lines. Warm directional light, reflective surfaces, shallow focus, and restrained blue-brown surroundings give the renders a polished yet handmade product-photography character.
