About

Lucy Glendinning is a contemporary British artist known for her sculptural works that explore themes of identity and human form. Her art often combines elements of realism with surreal and fantastical aspects, creating pieces that are both thought-provoking and visually striking.

Observations

Across the four renders, pale human figures and animal-human hybrids are presented with highly tactile feathers, wool, plaster, and crumpled fabric, giving the imagery a sculptural, hand-worked presence. Soft gray-white tones, restrained lighting, close portrait framing, and uncanny fantastical pairings create a quiet, dreamlike editorial atmosphere.
