About

Luke Chueh is a contemporary artist known for his unique blend of pop surrealism and lowbrow art. His work often features anthropomorphic characters, combining elements of humor and melancholy. Chueh's art is characterized by its clean lines, soft color palettes, and a distinctive style that merges cute and dark themes.

Observations

The style uses visibly brushed, textured paint with soft, fine strokes to depict simplified animal-like characters in sparse, uncanny encounters. Muted gray and pastel tones, isolated figures, exaggerated scale, and occasional stark red accents create a dreamy but quietly unsettling atmosphere across the set.
