Michael Lang is a contemporary artist known for his surreal and expressive paintings. His work often explores themes of fantasy and abstraction, creating a unique visual language that captivates viewers.

Observations

Across all four portraits, recognizable faces are broken into angular, geometric planes and reunited with strong dark contour lines. Saturated teal, rust, red, orange, and green dominate, while visible directional brushwork and layered paint give the otherwise graphic compositions a tactile, expressive surface.
