About

Miroslav Tichy was a Czech photographer known for his unconventional and clandestine approach to photography. Using homemade cameras crafted from found materials, Tichy captured candid images of women in his hometown of Kyjov, often focusing on themes of voyeurism and the everyday. His work gained recognition for its raw, unpolished aesthetic and the unique perspective it offered on post-war Eastern European life.
