About

Ogham is an ancient alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language. It consists of a series of linear markings along a central line, often found inscribed on stone monuments dating back to the 4th to 6th centuries AD. The script is named after the god Ogma, who was associated with eloquence and learning in Irish mythology.

Observations

The style presents close-up, tactile surfaces marked with repeated vertical and crosswise incisions, combining archaeological-looking stone with rough parchment-like material. Restrained earth tones, strong light-dark separation, shallow framing, and highly legible linear marks create a weathered, sculptural and materially focused appearance across the set.
