About
Orthographic view is a method of visual representation used in engineering and architecture to depict three-dimensional objects in two dimensions. It involves projecting different views of an object, such as the front, top, and side, onto a single plane, allowing for precise and accurate representation of dimensions and spatial relationships.
Observations
The style presents monumental architectural forms as pale, highly geometric axonometric or isometric scenes, combining solid cutaway masses with exposed interiors, terraces, stairs, and tiny occupants. Fine ruled lines, diagrammatic construction marks, restrained near-monochrome color, and generous white space give the images the character of refined architectural illustrations rather than conventional buildings rendered naturalistically.
