About

Pierre-Jacques Pelletier is a contemporary artist known for his imaginative and surrealistic approach to painting. His works often explore themes of fantasy and mythology, blending realistic techniques with dreamlike elements to create evocative and thought-provoking imagery.

Observations

The style presents grand fantasy landscapes with monumental cliffs, castles, waterfalls, clouds, and tiny human figures, combining dark teal shadows with amber, orange, and icy highlights. Visible brushwork and atmospheric haze give the scenes a richly painterly, highly detailed surface, while internal light sources and strong tonal contrasts create an epic, dreamlike mood.
