Observations

The style uses stark black-and-white graphic drawing with heavy contour lines, dense crosshatched shading, and large areas of clean white space. It consistently presents deadpan, bespectacled male characters in close-up portrait or panel compositions, with selectively detailed clothing, hair, and crowded backgrounds.
