Observations
The style is richly illustrative and highly ornamental, built from fine outlines, dense patterning, intricate textiles, botanical forms, and carefully layered character and animal imagery. Saturated reds, teals, blues, and dark neutrals create strong contrast, while the recurring fantastical figures, ravens, horses, moon, and elaborate landscapes give the whole sheet a dramatic storybook quality.
