About
Tang Yau Hoong is a Malaysian artist and illustrator known for his clever use of negative space and minimalist design. His work often explores themes of nature, surrealism, and human interaction with the environment. He has gained recognition for his ability to convey complex ideas through simple yet powerful imagery.
Observations
Across all four renders, the style uses dark teal-blue scenes with stark silhouettes, luminous internal light sources, and strongly separated highlights and shadows. Familiar landscapes and tiny human figures are combined with impossible scale shifts and floating or submerged elements, giving the images a cinematic, surreal dream quality with visible grain.
