About
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a popular media franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It originated as a comic book series in the 1980s and has since expanded into animated series, films, toys, and other merchandise. The story follows four anthropomorphic turtles named Leonardo, Michelangelo , Donatello, and Raphael , who are trained in ninjutsu by their rat sensei, Splinter, and battle against various villains in New York City.
Observations
The style presents highly detailed anthropomorphic warrior characters with expressive faces, rugged armor, and strong action-oriented poses. It shifts between cinematic-looking rendered portraits and graphic, ink-like panels, unified by saturated earthy colors, heavy contour marks, deep shadows, and an epic fantasy mood.
