Observations

Highly detailed illustrative portraits combine fine drawn lines, smooth modeled shading, vivid jewel-like colors, and dense ornamental framing. Repeated roses, foliage, mirrors, clocks, cards, apples, and skulls create symmetrical, fantastical tableaux with a surreal storybook quality.
