Observations

The style uses monochrome ink drawing with heavy contour lines, dense crosshatching, and strongly contrasted black-and-white areas. Exaggerated caricatural characters act out crowded, satirical scenes, with expressive gestures, grotesque faces, and richly observed clothing and props.
