To celebrate the release of Niji 6 Alpha model today, we made our traditional #TechniqueTuesday post in —niji 6! Aubusson tapestry refers to a traditional form of French tapestry weaving that originates from the town of Aubusson, located in the Creuse department in central France. Dating back to at least the 16th century, this art form is renowned for its elegant and sophisticated designs, often depicting pastoral scenes, historic events, mythological themes, and later, more abstract and contemporary motifs. Aubusson tapestries are celebrated for their delicate nuances of color and detailed imagery, achieved through the meticulous hand-weaving process on low-warp looms. This method allows for a level of precision and subtlety in color blending, creating tapestries with a painterly quality. The technique works great in Midjourney, with Niji 6 giving the images more refined, detailed scenes and more nuanced appearance. The Midlibrary score is 7/9, the cyberpunk character and Thom Yorke seem to be from another anime series.Andrei Kovalev Midlibrary | Midjourney AI Styles

«Grave of the Fireflies» (火垂るの墓, Hotaru no Haka) is a critically acclaimed 1988 Japanese animated war film directed by Isao Takahata and produced by Studio Ghibli. The narrative explores themes of loss, perseverance, and the devastating impact of war on innocent lives, distinguishing itself by its emotional depth, stark realism, and absence of a traditional antagonist. «Grave of the Fireflies» is renowned for its powerful storytelling, artistic mastery, and its ability to convey the horrors of war through the lens of human experience rather than political commentary. The film’s animation is noted for its beauty and attention to detail, capturing both the natural beauty of Japan and the grim realities of war with equal proficiency. Unlike many other war films, «Grave of the Fireflies» offers no glorification of conflict, instead presenting a stark and moving reminder of the resilience of the human spirit in the face of despair. Its legacy endures as a masterpiece of animation and a profound commentary on the tragedy of war. If you haven’t seen «Grave of the Fireflies», we highly recommend it! It’s a true masterpiece both of storytelling and of animation. The style is really lovely in Midjourney, conveying images full of warmth and making Thom, Francis and everyone else into kids. Check out the Mainecoon kitten! The Midlibrary score is 9/9. All the samples are done in —niji 6.Andrei Kovalev Midlibrary | Midjourney AI Styles

Clean and detailed are the keywords here. Takeshi Obata's style in Midjourney niji brings back fantastic, complex, and inventive illustrations. And note how niji generations differ from V4, even when they are a miss (note the cute Mainecoon cat). I’m working on special research on that, so stay tuned! Obata’s style is amazing but not all-powerful. Apart from Mainecoon, it also failed to alter the peonies enough for them to be a distinct illustration. Nazgul is quite unique, though. 7/9 Midlibrary score!Andrei Kovalev Midlibrary | Midjourney AI Styles
